Puzzle 130 - 2008
A group of young people is given a blank jigsaw puzzle to be assembled. Their task is to cover a white surface with the white pieces. As they seek to complete the puzzle, the group starts questioning the project’s meaning, unaware of being themselves, with their actions, the ones who provide significance to the project. Here empty space stands as a metaphor for a much more profound law, that of occupation as human activity as well as that of unification of space in a world with no boundaries.
